There is a saying — “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” Buti sana kung constructive ang criticism mo but the way I read it.. mukang nang-iinsulto ka. Just SHUT UP!

Kung sa magaling, oo naman. Kung iisipin, ilang taon pa lang ang nakakaraan nung unang subukan na gumamit ng mga effects na ganyan ang mga locally made movies. At kita nyo naman. Siguro by next year nga, mas advanced na kesa sa effects na yan ang kayang gawin para sa sine. Kung maglalabas ng sequel ng resiklo, malamang maka-laglag pangang effects na.

Eh kayang-kaya naman talaga gumawa ng pinoy ng mga ganyang effects eh. Madami lang kasing factors kung bakit hindi nila mai-todo ang gawa nila.

1. Dahil mas matinding effects, mas mahal ang gastos. Hirit naman ng hirit ang mga tao na kesyo pangit ang effects ng isang sine at kinukumpara pa sa gawang hollywood. Ang mga hollywood producers, maraming pera kaya kung magpagawa ng effects, todo-todo.
Hindi siguro ninyo alam kung gaano ka-mahal ang software na ginamit nila sa paggawa ng effects niyan. Actually, computer pa lang na gagamitin, mahal na.

2. Gagastos ka ng malaking halaga tapos mapipirata lang?! Eh malamang malulugi sila. Kahit pa sabihin mong top-grossing film. Eh kung mapirata? Paano na.

Kaya mag-isip isip muna kayo bago ninyo husgahan ang mga pinoy movies na may mga effects na ganito.

Para sa locally made movie na may ganitong effects? talagang nakaka-mangha.

Kaya imbes na pintasan, dapat nga ay suportahan natin.

Eh sa concept naman, ganun naman talaga. Kung may kahawig man yung kuwento, total naman ay ikinukumpara na rin sa hollywood, bakit ang mga sine sa hollywood? Halata naman na may ibang mga sine sila na hindi rin original ang concept ha.

Kahit may kahawig pa, eh nasa paghahalo-halo lang ng konsepto yan. Anong magagawa mo kung yung gusto mong isulat na kuwento ay may kapareho pala?

Hmm.. Impressive shit! Very at par in graphics! Mustve been big budgeting behind all this. Sure, it may not be THAT original, but seeing current use of CG in the Philippines, this one has the sweetest-looking graphics that Resiklo came to a point that it looks better than a MAU!! Smoothness is also obvious. People are only actually criticizing this because:
1. It’s not their type
2. they do not know Philippines’ current economic conditions that their standards are for American-raters.
3. They are not proud of the Philippines.
4. They thought this is to compete globally. This is MMFF entry, not the Oscars.
5. Spoiled by the Matrix & the Autobots.

So let’s forgive them, for they do not know what they are saying. Come to think of it, we haven’t seen the movie as well. So we can’t say that it’s good or bad fully, although the story flow is doubtly very good.

Again I agree with JC Reyes’ comments, moreso, it’s not only the Pirates that is killing the movie industry, it’s us. We’re the ones buying pirated DVD’s and VCDs, we don’t even care if the copy we’re buying was taken from a camcorder with the noise and other distractions, so long as we buy it cheap. That is how our movie industry looses from film making. We’re not patronizing their films.

And yes, we get to criticize them too after watching their film from a priated version. Now, Is that fair?

Now before we start stinking up the film that’s meant as a Christmas present for all of us. Why don’t we thank the gift givers first and appreciate their hard work. If we can appreciate films done in Holliwood, we sure as hell can appreciate films labored with love by our own blood.

it’s bad and dissapointing cming from a filipino na matatas pa yatang managalog to comment negatively bout this film. Na kesyo pangit daw ang graphics, ang story etc. In the first place have you seen the whole movie? or baka napirata na to? We should be proud that at least with a small budget and for a small audience which means small revenue, they have come up with this kind of film. Para sa yo tsong, wait til you get out from the philippines and work abroad. Then tell us if you won’t be proud that yo are pinoy. wag lang pinoy politician at talo tayo jan, hehehe!!! out of topic but with sense.

Hmmm.. Not bad. ^^ The concept of this movie is the same with the online game I play, RF Online Philippines. CGI is impressive. Costumes need a little bit of improvement though.

maganda. i am proud that the philippines can actually pull a movie like this. it’s unfair to compare this to hollywood movies, because obviously it’s not on the same level.

First.. I am not a Bong Revilla fan…never liked his old movies way back..and its very rare that i watch a locally made movie.

but i would probably watch this one.. why.. this is something new ..it went out of the usual locally made movies and took the risk of making money or not… they did not play safe…yes there are similar copies/plots like this outside the philipines… but is there somebody here that did this before? None i believe.

havent seen the effects so i cant comment. It maybe a lousy one.. or it could turn out to be something promising..

comes xmas week..i’ll pay my respect to this movie by watching it ..in the hopes that more of this will be made and for sure it will greatly improve.. and one day..my hopes of watching locally made movies will come back…

ah….eh…yung muvie…hypher duper impressive ung improvement ng movie natin…lalo na to..magkagayunman mga kapatid sa pananaw eh….my igagaling pa naman to hehe…

Nung kararating ko lang para magbakasyon galing Korea, nakita ko ang trailer nito sa Victory Liner bus na sinakyan ko papuntang Baguio. Honestly for 9 years working abroad, di ako mahilig manuod ng mga pelikulang Pilipino, pero nung makita ko ito, nagulat ako. Trailer pa lang, hanga ako!

Maganda ang CG nya. Di man tulad ng gawa sa Hollywood, pero yung isang scene lang kung saan may umatake na robot sa isa pang robot, isip ko galing ng action! In short, I’m very impressed! Pagbalik ko sa February I will surely take the time to bring my family to watch it.

Looking forward to more and better movies from our country! Kudos to Senator Revilla and company!

Bakit hindi magsama sama ang mga malalaking producers ng bansa, para makagawa ng isang pelikula na pwede nating itapat at ipagmalaki sa buong mundo na ito’y tatak pinoy!!!

comment lang po, no problem sa akin ang ganitong movie lalo na kung pilipino ang gumawam, makikita natin na nag-iimprove nga malaki the way we produce movies, lalo na pagdating sa mga futuristic and horror films na kailangan ng CG, napansin ko lang na “RESIKLO” in english “RECYLE” di ba dapat medyo dugyutin yung mga histura nila, ang kaso eh ang kikinis pa din, pansinin niyo LOTR, ultimo kuko madumi, realistic yung kadugyutan nila. yung sa resiklo kung kulang sa realistic yung pagkadugyot nila. in terms of make up and costume, yung pag kakagawa sa movie siguro medyo kailangan “DARK” ang lighting mala matrix.

Yung nakita ko sa trailer, ang ganda ng CG footages. palagay ko isang milestone ito sa Philippine Cinema. Congrats.

Pero hindi ko nagustohan yung casting kasi para sa akin halos lahat ay superstar actress at actor na lagi mo namang nakikita sa TV. Na parang nawawala yung “element of surprise” na kailangan makikita mo lamang kung papanoorin mo yung buong sine. Parang painting na hindi malaman yung saan yung focal point.

Sa isang scene,hindi ko nagustuhan yung acting ng mga bata kasi mukhang peke yung acting dahil sa tone ng boses at body language. Sa Scene kasi mayroon parating na kalaban na papatay sa kanila at hindi ito tumugma sa kanilang tono ng boses at body language. Nawawala tuloy yung emotional na aspeto ng pelikula at para sa akin hindi ako at siguro yung ibang audience magkaroon ng emotional connection sa character ng pelikula.

Yung mga character ay too well groomed para sa mundo na sinasalakay parang walang pagod o pawis sa ginagawa nilang pagligtas sa mundo na nagresulta sa nawawala yung tension sa storya.

Visually siguro kailangan dadagdagan yung depth ng setting kung saan nangyayari yung storya.

My conclusion is this is a great step for the Philippine cinema. It may not be the best written script or story which I actually think is hacked from The Matrix Rev. and ID4 but I think with the existence of this movie I brought new possibility to of Phil. Cinema to a wider level. I don’t think I’m going to the movies to watch this film but I do think it deserve to be rented at V.City which is legal and the only way I can support Pinoy movies.

I hope some day in my life time I will only watch Pinoy films and I hope my comments isn’t taken negative or lightly. The truth is I am cheering for production staff or crew making Pinoy films that reflects interesting Pinoy behavior,consequences that are actually entertaining and not just a fad.Anyway,
